Dann’s professional art career has spanned nearly four decades.  Following an early career in commercial art, Dann decided to commit himself to painting.  Gradually his passion for the outdoors focused his talents towards illustrating hunting, fishing and wildlife articles for books and magazines.  Since Dann has spent so much time in the outdoors, his paintings reflect what he knows best.  His love of early American history has lent an additional direction to his art where he is able to combine years spent afield with ongoing research to create historic artwork for the living history community and collectors alike.
